| Aida Fabric Aida fabric or aida cloth is a block weave fabric which is very popular for cross stitch. Aida is an easy fabric to see and stitch, with its regular even construction and large holes. It is available in different stitch counts ranging from the 6-count fabric (6 holes per inch) which is popular for children to the finer 18-count aida, for more intricate stitching.
