Washing Anchor Stranded Cotton
To wash your completed piece, stitched with Anchor cotton embroidery thread, it is best to be guided by the recommendations of the manufacturer of the fabric upon which it is stitched. Wash with a mild soap, in warm water, avoiding anything containing bleach, strong detergents or whiteners. Rinse thoroughly. Then wrap the work in a towel to remove excess water and dry flat. Before it dries completely, lay it on a clean cloth and iron on the reverse side, at the correct temperature setting for the fabric.
