Free Baby Cross Stitch Pattern
Baby Carousel is our free cross stitch baby pattern. It was stitched using two strands of Anchor stranded cotton for the cross stitch and the backstitch, on a piece of 14 count white aida fabric size 7 x 5.5" (18 x 14 cm). You will also need a tapestry needle size 24, and Anchor stranded cotton thread in shades 234, 403, 23, 295, 300, 362, 302, 186, 188, 304 and 400.

 | Baby Cross Stitch Colour Key
The shades used in this free cross stitch pattern are shown on the key on the left, along with the shade reference numbers.
Light grey (shade 234) and black (403) are used for the cow, pale yellow (300) for the sheep and light tan (362) for the pony. Pink (23) is used on the animals' faces and on the sheep's legs.
The canopy of the carousel is stitched in yellow (295), dark yellow (302) and edged with pale green (186). The animals are outlined in backstitch using dark grey (400) and the writing is backstitced in medium green (188) and orange (304). |

The Completed Baby Cross Stitch
You can see the free Baby Carousel cross stitch pattern stitched on the right.
We mounted it in an 8" x 6" white greetings card with a silver border around the oval aperture.
Then we mounted the card in a silver frame, as it would be for a special keepsake. |  |
