Cross Stitch Exhibition:
An exhibition of the original designer's stitched models for the Heirlooms Needlecraft collection of cross stitch kits, which are designed and produced by us here in Alnwick.

These include our well known Britain in Cross Stitch collection, which features scenes from Northumberland, Durham, The Lake District and Cumbria, Yorksire, London and the South of England. Also included are cross stitch samplers and greetings cards. Over 80 original designs are on display at any one time and you are very welcome to visit us.

Opening Times:
We are open to visitors all year round, excluding bank holidays, on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10am to 4.30pm.

Location:
We are located at 18 Fenkle Steet in Alnwick town centre. Alnwick is approximately 35 miles north of Newcastle upon Tyne on the A1.

The gallery is accessible to wheelchair users.

Facilities:
The adjoining shop has one of the largest selections of cross stitch kits available in the UK. Also tapestry, embroidery, knitting and crochet.

Alnwick Visitor Attractions:
In and around Alnwick there is much to see and do. The magnificent Alnwick Castle is the second largest inhabited castle in England. It has been the location for famous films including Elizabeth, Robin Hood and as Hogwarts in Harry Potter. Nearby is another major visitor attraction: the stunning Alnwick Garden. Alnwick has interesting shops and places to visit, including the Bailiffgate Museum and Barter Books, described by the New Statesman as "the British Library of second hand bookshops".
