Making a Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalog, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Checkout" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to process your order. Our prices are in British pounds (£). If you are shopping from North America, or anywhere else outside of the UK, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency. To provide the highest level of security, all our online sales are processed by Worldpay. Please click "VIEW MERCHANT RECEIPT" on the WorldPay payment page (after you have paid) to receive your automated confirmation email from us. We accept Visa, Via Debit, Visa Electron, Mastercard, Mastercard Debit, Maestro, JCB and Solo. You may send your debit/credit card information over the Internet at our secure Worldpay payment page, or separately by mail or telephone. Or you can send us a cheque in GBP, British pounds (£), made payable to "Cross Stitch Centre". Or you can pay using our secure PayPal payment page. To remove an item from your shopping cart click on the "Shopping Cart" button, which is near the top left hand side of all our product pages. Simply tick the "remove" box and then click the "update" button. |
Shipping UK Delivery:
UK shipping charge is £1.55 for orders under £15.00, and £1.99 for all larger orders.
Delivery to Europe:
For European orders under £35.00 we charge only £3.60.
We charge £5.20 for orders over £35.00, £7.70 for orders over £55.00 and £10.20 for orders over £75.00.
Delivery to the Rest of the World:
For orders under £30.00 we charge only £3.60.
We charge £5.20 for orders over £30.00, £7.70 for orders over £45.00, £10.20 for orders over £60.00 and £14.90 for orders over £75.00. |
Tax Charges For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 20% VAT is included. All other orders are VAT free. |
Delivery Schedule Most of our orders are despatched within 2 working days. Your order will be despatched by 1st class Royal Mail if you live in the UK, or Airmail if you live overseas. Following despatch, orders are normally in transit for approximately 2 working days (UK), 7 days (EU), 11 days (USA), 16 days (Rest of the World). |

Cancellation You have a Cooling Off Period of seven days, in which you are entitled to cancel your order, for a full refund of the price of the goods. To cancel you must contact us in writing (mail or email) within 7 days of receiving your goods. The customer is responsible for the cost of returning the goods, which must be returned in their original condition, with sealed packaging intact, within 30 days of cancellation.We recommend that you obtain proof of postage, as we cannot be responsible for goods lost or damaged in transit. Complaints We try very hard to ensure you will be happy with our service. Any complaint will be acknowledged within 5 working days. We will deal with your complaint fairly and in confidence and you will receive our response, which hopefully will resolve the matter amicably, within 10 working days.
