Making a Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalog, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Checkout" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to process your order. If you are shopping from North America, or anywhere else outside of the UK, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency. To provide the highest level of security all our online sales are processed by Worldpay. We accept Visa, Delta, Mastercard, Switch, Solo and Eurocard. You may send your debit/credit card information over the Internet at our secure Checkout, or seperately by mail, phone or fax. Or you can send us a cheque in GBP, British pounds (£), made out to "Cross Stitch Centre". To remove an item from your shopping cart click on the "View Cart" button, which is at the top left hand side of all our product pages. Simply check the "remove" box and then click the "update" button. |
Shipping UK shipping is £1.10 plus vat for orders under £25.00, and £1.44 plus vat for larger orders. For international orders under £50.00 we charge only £3.50 per delivery worldwide, and £5.00 for larger international orders. |
Tax Charges For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is included. All other orders are VAT free. |
Delivery Schedule Most of our orders are despatched in 2 to 7 working days. When you order online, you will immediately receive an automated email, confirming that we have received your order. Your order will be despatched by 1st class Royal Mail if you live in the UK, or Airmail if you live overseas. Typical shipping times are 1 to 2 days (UK), 3 to 5 days (EU), 5 to 10 days (USA), 10 to 14 days (Rest of the World). |

This uses a combination of standard methods such as PGP, RSA and MD5 to ensure that the information passed is secure and tamper-proof. Data Storage Data storage on WorldPay systems, and the communication between WorldPay and the worldwide banking networks, is regularly audited by the banking authorities to ensure a secure transaction environment. We record your name, email address, delivery address and payment details so that we can process your order efficiently.We never disclose buyers' information to third parties, and will not contact you other than to process your order or reply to your enquiries. Back Orders If due to stock shortage we cannot despatch your order within our normal time, we will contact you with a revised delivery date. You will always have the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait. |

Refunds will be made within 14 working days of receiving the returned goods.We recommend that you obtain proof of postage, as we cannot be responsible for goods lost in transit. Cancellation You have a Cooling Off Period of seven days, in which you are entitled to cancel your order, for a full refund of the price of the goods. To cancel you must contact us in writing (mail or email) within 7 days of receiving your goods. The customer is responsible for the cost of returning the goods, which must be returned in their original condition, with sealed packaging intact, within 30 days of cancellation.We recommend that you obtain proof of postage, as we cannot be responsible for goods lost or damaged in transit. Complaints We try very hard to ensure you will be happy with our service. Any complaint will be acknowledged within 5 working days. We will deal with your complaint fairly and in confidence and you will receive our response, which hopefully will resolve the matter amicably, within 10 working days.
