How does it work?

1. Send your photo to DMC in the pre-addressed envelope contained in the pack.

2. DMC will produce an easy to follow chart from your photo, and return it to you.

3. You can then purchase the fabric and threads which are listed on your chart, and start stitching your unique needlecraft picture.

Some Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What size should my photo be?
A. Any photo up to 8" x 10" can be used.

Q. How long does it take DMC to produce my chart?
A. Approximately 28 days from receiving your photo.

Q. Are digital photos accepted?
A. Yes, you can send your photo on a CD.

Q. Can I choose a sepia or black and white finish for my stitched piece?
A. Yes. Just tick the box on the order form.

Q. How many colours are used?
A. Up to 48 DMC colours are used, to give a beautiful result.

Q. What size will my finished piece be?
A. The standard chart size is 140 stitches x 112 stitches. This would produce a 10" x 8" picture, if stitched on 14 count fabric. If stitched on 11 count fabric it would be slightly larger and on 18 count fabric it would be slightly smaller.

Q. Does DMC accept photos which are © copyrighted?
A. No, DMC do not have the rights to work with these images.
