Rico Design, founded in Brakel, Germany in 1974 by Franz Jacoby, is a leading manufacturer of embroidery products. Rico Design embroidery booklets are sold extensively in Germany and in many other European countries. The home textile collection covers the complete range of embroidered tablecloths, including the hand-embroidered Melasie range, with its wonderful needlework items and delicate hem stitching.

Rico also offer an extensive hand knitting collection, updated by new fashionable high-quality yarns. There is also a very active hobby branch, which is being continuously extended, especially in the artists' products sector. In their company-owned workshop, Rico promote design trends using mosaic, mirror and facet stones in the home decoration and picture design field.
