Cross Stitch Size Guide for Stitching on Aida Fabric


This cross stitch size guide tells you what size your finished cross stitch will be on the most commonly used aida fabrics.

So for example, you can read from the table that a piece 30 stitches high x 40 stitches wide, on 14 count aida, will measure 2.1 inches x 2.9 inches.

Please remember that you will need at least an extra 2.5 inches of blank aida fabric all around the design for stretching and framing your completed cross stitch project. So you will need to add at least 5 inches to each dimension.
